What does the Disec 3G Diamond line look like?
Today we’re talking about a magnetic protector for European cylinder locks with a very high level of security. This protector has passed a thousand brutal break-in tests. Its body is packed with details that make it a truly impenetrable security device. In combination with a high-security cylinder, you can use it to protect your security door with unrivalled armor plating.
The body
The Disec 3G diamond line is similar to the MAG3G version, but differs in that the rotating front part is made of hardened stainless steel to protect against drilling, and is supported at the rear by a manganese plate. Inside, there are carbide anti-piercing inserts and diamond-based chip details. This material has been developed and patented by Disec and prevents the penetration of any cutting technology into the defender, e.g. flex, drills with special tips, etc: Flex, drills with special tips, etc….
The filling function
Key filling is achieved by rotating the hardened steel plate, which is operated by its key with a combination of vectors and positions. These details give the defender an extreme level of security with an unrivalled functional system. And thanks to the protection and detail with which it has been manufactured, drilling is a distant memory.
Your badge
The Disec 3G Diamond escutcheon is a very sturdy escutcheon, because it’s made in the shape of a shell so it can’t seize. In addition to this special feature, Disec has ensured that the escutcheons can be adjusted to millimetre precision thanks to the threaded interlocking system. A system that guarantees a perfect fit to your door, with no annoying play, as is the case with conventional spring wings. Naturally, the Diamond version is fitted with diamond plates inside the hardware to avoid drilling and dismantling.
Factors to consider :
Although this product is perfectly designed, there are a few details to bear in mind:
It should always be combined with cylinders with a key neck length of at least 15 mm.
The hole in the door must be at least 56/57 mm, as the door has a 54 mm inner seal.
Even if you opt for a gold or bronze finish, the central part of the defender will always be in steel-colored tempered stainless steel.
For added safety, remember to always close the defender, because if we leave it open, we make the roller shutter key.
Make sure you buy the right mudguard for the depth of your door.
