TECHNICAL FEATURES.
The ICS (internally coded system) reversible key offers high protection through the unique combination of three different locking technologies:
- Specially shaped and durable longitudinal profile.
- Excellent curve system that interrogates the locking authorization.
- Optimized locking pins. The latter consists of covered recesses positioned inside the ICS key body, a world exclusive. This makes it virtually impossible to make unauthorized copies of the key.
Cipher reading is done on three levels by means of a total of 13 locking pins and, in addition, a specially shaped longitudinal profile:
- 2 side rows with 10 compact sliding locking pins probe the curves on the sides of the key.
- A middle row of pins with 3 tracks verifies the internal coding, protected and made in the back of the key

Key
ICS keys are reversible. Due to its shape, the same can be easily inserted into the cylinder. In addition, ICS keys provide maximum security against unauthorized duplication. As protection against unauthorized key duplication and manipulation, the system has 3 different levels of protection:
Organizational protection
Keys are made by EVVA or EVVA partners only for people who can show the relevant legitimation document (e.g., security card).
The manufacturing and distribution of keys is done exclusively in EVVA and at specialized companies authorized by EVVA.
In addition, EVVA protects ICS keys from unauthorized production through patented features listed on the key.
Maximum technical protection
The keys have technical features whose manufacture requires special machines and in-depth technical knowledge.
Break-in protection
Anti-puncture, anti-extraction and anti-tear protection.
Special HSS (High Speed Steel) pins protect the rotor against drilling and pulling. In the cylinder body, a special steel alloy pin provides maximum anti-puncture protection.
Anti-puncture protection
The side rows of pins have dummy opening positions, making it virtually impossible to read the locking cylinder. The lateral rows of pins are asymmetrical with respect to the pin tracks that read the internal profile code, further increasing anti-puncture protection.
Anti-picking protection
The use of separate and compact sliding reading elements without the use of springs and counterpins prevents recognition of reading positions so that no one can force the opening from the outside.
